yes. train every alternate days. depending on what you want to train up.

Chin up is probably the hardest for many. So in order to do well, you MUST practise. ANd its not only alternate days, but preferably morning once, evening once,

Start the morning regime with more repetition, and end the evening regime with a lesser repetition. This will allow your body muscle to rest in the rest day. During this rest day, you can train on the lower body, so that your body alternates between workout.

Do your push ups everyday faithfully and you wont fail your pull up.

Run the regular 2.4 km per week and you wont fail your 2.4km.

Others should be relatively ok.
Drink more water and also take slighlty more salt two days before your exercise, prevents the cramps.

I pass my IPPT by concentrating onthe following regime:

1. Run 3.2km within 12minutes 3 times a week.
2. Push up 100 per day.
3. Pull up, 10 times every alternate days.

With this 3 main focal, you will never be a zero fighter anymore.
Note: If you cant do 10 push up, never mind, do as many as you can, then rest, and when you feel more strength, do another 2 untill 10. If really cannot, slowly increase 1 pull up per week till 10.

Easy as it goes. Thanks for the push up tips. I think it is the discipline of taking the regime to pass IPPT that is the most challenging. More often than not, I give up halfway.
