Good. I like. The charcoal beads could have been made a bit bigger to give it more texture, but I guess its what the scrub is used for.
It cleanse beautifully for me. No more oil. Thanks Mentholatum, looking forward to more of your products on the market!

it worked not too bad as a facial wash, but i would not buy it again, as the smell isnt nice.

Mentholatum though a new brand for Men's skincare. Charcoal Face Wash surprised me and kept my excess sebum at bay.Even my wife notice my complexion getting better and less clogged pores.Sure it worth your purchase for such a daily wash guys.

This is a good product as a facewash. Mentholatum is a brand well reknowed for the other range, so I was full of similar expectation for this too.
It turned out well, and my skin feel really cleansed after cleaning.
Lathers well on the skin.
The color of the tube is very manly since the small particles seem to be like the charcoal themselves. Good product adn keep up the good product development!

1 Word to describe, WONDERFUL.
The Oilyness on my face was taken away every time i wash with the charcoal face wash, the feeling is like woooooo... You dun feel the stickiness and oilyness on your face before the start of your daily work/study. It really is WONDERFUL

Face not as oily as before after using the sample.
In my experience, face wash is probably the most personal of all the toiletries (with the exception of your toothbrush). You can always use someone else's toothpaste or body wash in a pinch, but face wash? Not me.
Which brings me to my review. I loved the Charcoal Face Wash from Mentholatum so much that I decided to give the face wash a go. I loved the color (that same REALLY dark grey, as in no light reflection at all) and I found that it generally did a good job of cleaning my face.
No two faces are alike, and no two face washes are either. This particular one may work better me than it did for someone else. Then again, it might not. Either way, at least you know it has no bad chemicals in it.
Which brings me to my review. I loved the Charcoal Face Wash from Mentholatum so much that I decided to give the face wash a go. I loved the color (that same REALLY dark grey, as in no light reflection at all) and I found that it generally did a good job of cleaning my face.

THe charcoal was 'observable' from the little dots in teh facewash and the color is metallic, so I like it based on appearance.
It is very foamy, so again the visual part is achieved when I was cleaning my face. I am a sucker for foamy cleanser.
Then the product works, and skin feels very clean. Try not too squeeze too much though as this could be abit 'drying'. I followed my cleaning with applying moisturiser of course, but I think it is due to its cleaning properties that it seems drying.
The charcoal part, if it works is definitely a plus point. Detoxification is an important asset and I dont think I need to go through the effects of charcoal. A search on google will find all the known miracles that charcoal does.
Overall, I like the product. 4.45!

Great facial product!
After using my face isn't oily and my blackheads seem lesser. Will continue to use for a few weeks to see the result.

I have oily and sensitive skin , the moment I used this I felt my skin became less oily and matte .
And the silver colored cream makes it look specially tailored for a guy . Also I don't like fragrances in my facial products which is a big plus . I will definitely buy this when it comes out on the market .Thanks Zampleman for introducing this great product !

Based on the performance of the facewash alone, I think Mentholatum's Charcoal facewash can clean the skin nicely.
It is however without fragrance. I prefer my facewash with some fragrance to 'wake' me up in the morning.
The best way to use this product is to squeeze some on your palm and then lather it before applying the foam onto your face.
Some people do not like the color of the facewash,but I like the mettalic color of the wash.
Good for oily skin.

I like the products from mentholatum for men. This charcoal facewash is effective. Clean the sebum off nicely for me.
I would say its actually 4.35/5.0, but there is no 4.5 star, so I give it a 4 here. Anyone looking for the right product should give this a try to see if this suits you.

Finally, a facial product for us guys.
I have an oily skin and my face tends to becomes very shiny by mid day.
After using this for a few days, my outbreak gradually reduce and face feel very clean and dry.
The pamphlet that comes with it also teach me how to maintain a clean face.

Certainly easy to use - just apply and wash it off, with so much ease.
As my skin is a little oily sometimes, the face wash eliminates the oil everytime I use it. Leaving only a clean and oil-free face.
The product also comprises of a small brochure, teaching me about the steps of keeping a good skin.
Such comprehensive text is both rare and few. This gives me a deep understanding of why was charcoal chosen for the face wash instead of the other ingredients.
Those who have not tried this FACE WASH should do so immediately. No doubt, this is a great product.

One of the better products around. No doubt publicity for the brand has not been very strong, but this facewash work.
Effective in sucking up the sebum as it claims.
The packaging is cool and the color of the content is metallic. Very manly.
