I like the glittering part of this foam. Makes it look like this is from some muddy spa pool in Japan. And this also effectively removes the dirt without overdrying. I am not too fussy over my skincare routine for the facial wash, so this is exactly what I like.

The pack is blackish, so its manly enough. (important important!)

Effective in cleansing, but didnt not experience significant whitening/brightening as expected. Smell is ok, but without a full range, may not be so attractive to use. I dont usually like to combine the products.

This is good for lathering and foamy feel but prefers the Hydraenergetic cleansing gel.

Can clean the oil and sebum from the face without over drying the face. Foamy and gentle to the face. Great product to use.

While I was using this, somehow, it seems like I am smelling citronella or lemon grass in the product. Very nice hint of this natural herb mixed with the trademark loreal scent.

The cleanser is very effective in cleaning the face without overdrying and its foamy, easily lathers in the palms.

The charcoal black foam is an interesting concept since only 2 on the market has charcoal ingredients in them. Detoxify....

Been using this for a few days. The cleanser cleans the skin well without overdrying the skin. Good for everyday use, and I mean really everyday use.

The texture of the foam is metallic black and feels great when lathered on the skin. Seems to brighten the skin also after a few days. If only there is a charcoal scrub for this, or a charcoal moisturiser (black moisturiser)!

This foam cleanses effectively and is ideal for my skin. Non harsh and ideal for skin types which is oily.
Removes the oil on the skin without over stripping the natural moisturizer. Scented nicely with good lathering properties.
Texture of foam is metallic black shiny and comes in a good informative package of the range under Pure n matte.

Good for people who likes the foamy kind of facial wash. For me, I prefer the gel base cleanser i.e. the hydra energetic ones or other commercially gel based cleanser.

Smell passes my test, and it is not harsh on the skin. Good recommendation. And when it lathers on the palm (lathers well by the way), its color is very interesting. Experience for yourself.

Like the black texture, it lathered well on my skin and leaves my face feeling clean and fresh after washing. It really does control the oily area of my face quite well.

Considerably a good cleanser since you seldom see black colored facial foam on the market. (I could only count one other product that is blackish).

Does not overdry and effectively cleansed. Mild enough to be use with a scrub, so I guess this could be combined with a scrub twice a week. Smell is traditional loreal smell, good and nice.

No complains... should launch the charcoal moisturiser. will be interesting to rub blackish moisturiser on the face.

The charcoal inside is non harsh to my skin which is sensitive. Sometimes with the wrong skincare foam, I could get rashes on my skin. For this pure and matte charcoal facial foam, I do not feel the allegy at all, which is a hugh bonus for me.

All other things dont really matter for me since mildness to the skin is most important. Kudos!

This facial foam is too mild for greasy face if you are working in the repair shops where you need good intense cleansing everyday. Having said that, I do recommend this product to all those who are not in the 'super needy of good cleansing at end of day' group.

Product cleanses well, good mild smell thats not as strong as some of the products under the same range, and manly foam texture (most important for me). Dont buy this if you want to regret.

Decided to let myself try it for a few days after getting this sample. I would rank this as one of the cleanser that is value for money and up to the normal standard that I expect from Loreal.

The issue for the orangey hydraenergetic is that it only refreshes and I wanted something more relevant to my oily skin. So I was pleasantly surprise when I saw this launch. First few uses have proven to be great and welcoming on my skin.

Definitely gonna buy the product in stall after this try, but I think they should make more publicity on this product since this is address one of the main concern of guys like me.

Wah liew, this is good lobang xia. I passed by the stalls recently and saw it, but never buy since dont know good boh. Surprise to get the chance to try in zampleman.

Use of this, the cleanser is effective in clearing dirt. However, if you want heavy duty cleaning, like if you just come back from outfield, maybe need to use a scrub together. For me, when I dont go cheong shan, it works good. If cheong san, I will use the harsher brands around.

If you work in the mechanics shop with oil and greese everyday, mayb not so applicable.

Recommended for everyday use for good effective cleaning.

Received this friday night in mailbox. (What a good way to start my weekend). Good product after trying for one night.

Good cleaning and generous sample. The packaging and delivery of teh tube enclosed in the box is also very informative and pleasant. Won my first impression of the product.

A suggestion would be to have a charcoal based moisturiser. This would be interesting as I have never seen charcoal based moisturiser, but provided it will not make your skin look darker. LOL.

Received this 2 days ago but decided to put it to test before I clock in the review.

The blackish foam looks manly and cool to use, and I have no hesistant using this in front of my grilfriend and being caught with this in my gym bag. So in terms of packaging and the color, I am very cool with this.

The cleansing part passes my stringent Quality Assurance too. Good cleansing with the foam and not harsh nor drying for the skin. Just right for me. Keep up the good work L'Oreal!

Definitely a good try to see if you like it. For me, I like this charcoal product, the only setback is that it does not smell very strong. I prefer a stronger smell like the exfoliating gel scrub.

The cleansing is great, with a good black color ingredient. Looks like volcanic ashes. LOL
I could be buying the full tube since it is not too expensive.

This charcoal foam is really probably the leader in foam and facewash. The smeel is not overwhelmingly strong, just good enought to freshen your mood and smell manly.

As cleanser, it works well in cleaning my face and does not overly strip my face off teh moisture. The fact that it is charcoal, I believe it will detoxify the face.

No outbreaks after use. I am loving it~~~
