After washing, my face feels nice, and after a day outside, face doesn't feel oily.Its able to cleanse well & feel refresh throughout the day.My face feels smoother and healthier and more radiant after using it.The smell was okay to me,and the color may look distracting,but after washing it I feel great.
Overall,will get another tube of this and wash my face.

after trying the samples, I feel refresh and clean.

The colour of the facial cream is greyish, may not look nice but this product works.

This is definetely a very good product which I tried it myself.
I had tried AHA product, skin feel a bit itchy, thats maybe because of the glycolric acid but
this grey coloured face wash does not irritate skin.
The cypress Tree essence has a light fragrace giving your a feel of so refreshing.
The best part is the charcoal which has the properties to absorb oil and regulate the serbum.
It is definetley great for people like me that has very oily and acne prone skin.

My Skin is always oily & i've tried many kind of facial. after awhile the oilyness will come back, but after i tried the charcoal wash it's really kinda different. I won't say it gives the kind of VERY Refresh kind of feeling but it gives me the non sticky and non oillyness feeling on my face.

I long knew about the medicinal properties of charcoal but was skeptical about it being used as an ingredient in a facial wash. Was it the work of another marketing cum chemist "brainchild" trying to gain a foothold in the crowded line of men's only products?

After trying the sample, I must say it really works! My face feels clean yet not stripped of all moisture. It also keeps my super oily face oil-free for quite a while too.

The scent was not too overpowering unlike some other brands which tries to include scents which smell "manly".

Will definitely go out and buy the retail pack.

I was intriged the first time I saw the mentholatum for men advertisement. And I was undecided if I should buy or not.

Then when I took the zample from ZAMPLEMAN, after using that, I was convinced to buy a set of it.

And the best part is the poisturiser, the veil cos its really one of the best moisturiser I have ever tried. A pity there is no zample for the moisturiser because I am sure once you use it, you gonna buy it.

The cleanser itself is great, maybe a bit overdry, but with the moisturiser, its perfect. The oil is absorbed effectively.

When i saw Mentholatum Men series come out i was really excited because i love this brand alot. Esp Pimple sealing jelly. So I decided to give this a try since Zample men provide us sample. I have read or heard about how charcoal benefits our skin and give nutrients to it. So when i received the sample i quickly went home, went inside my shower room and eagerly try this out. OMG, i'm not lying This is the best among other men series products i have tried. Nice Smell Really thoroughly Cleanse my oily skin well and can stay matte for hours. And you know what, This is the first products that come out added in charcoal into their ingredients. I will Definitely Recommend to all my friends as i'm in a hairdressing school. We got to face people at our best. So this is a products that's not going to be missed :)

I first saw the Mentholatum for Men series in Watson's and was quite eager to tried it but was afraid that it may worsen the condition of my skin. Thus, I'm glad that I came across Zampleman and found out that they are giving out free 3 days pack samples!

Without any hesitation, I went on to register and received my Mentholatum for Men 3 days trial pack days later.

Day 1, i opened up the first pack and wash my face as what the package instructed, it was very refreshing after rinsing my face and of course, it did not have the smell of charcoal, my skin feel very clean, soft and smooth! And as I belong to the oily/sensitive type of skin, this product is able to keep my face clean and oil-free for long hours and no signs of breakout was seen.

However, the downside of the product is that it contains alcohol, thus, it tends to make my skin abit dry after quite some time. Thats when the moisturizer come in, coupled with Mentholatum Moisturizer, you skin will be sufficiently hydrated and not only that, it can also improve your skin tone and texture.

Needless to say, I went ahead and bought the full series of Mentholatum for Men series of facial products after finishing my 3 days trial pack.

This is one of the better facewash around. IT cleans the face very well, however,it may be abit over dry after using. For me, I compliment it with a moisturiser, so its ok for me.

Wonder how the moituriser will work together with the facewash.

The fact that it is fragrance free is good for me. even though I prefer it with fragrance I like, I rather it does not come with any fragrance than a fragrance that will turn me off. (That is one of teh reason why I dont use girls products.)

The charcoal part is very interesting. Like the metallic colour, and the little black black particles in the facewash (I presume they are charcoal, or meant to duplicate as charcoal bits.)

I like the 'totally cleansed' feel there. But its a bit dry for me. Need to use moisturiser immediately after that.

But overall, I like this product. Definitely will buy it for use once my current facewash runs out.

I have to say that Charcoal seems to be the new 'Black' in town with all the facial products out there having charcoal as the main ingredient.

I am currently using a certain popular brand which has a scrub but my major problem was that I like the roughness but I just think its a tad too harsh and way too 'hot' in terms of the alcohol they seem to contain which stings my face, whatever they say about the 'cooling' effect.

Most of the charcoal scrubs I have tried seems to look like an amalgamation of coarse sand and mud (the cheap man's mud mask?) and unfortunately makes one's skin feel ravaged, as if someone's drawn a really low grade of sandpaper across one's face.

I don't really buy into the whole 'fish tank' mentality of charcoal sucking up the inpurity and dirt (Come on, you are washing it all off with water, aren't you?) so what I really cared for with a good scrub is that my skin doesn't scream 'murder' when I am done with washing it and it actually get rid of the surface oil (at least till the next wash) without making my skin tight.

I was pretty skeptic with Mentholatum Charcoal men wash beacause it was actually another 'me too' facial product out there.

I was pleasantly surprised that the texture was not as grainy as the other wash and my confidence in it was really bolstered by the fact that my skin didn't feel as if someone smeared chili sauce all over it, unlike the other brands I have used over the past few months.

But mostly importantly, it does what it says based on my personal touch test, and that's the oily feeling on my face was no longer there and that after half a day it still retained its clean feeling. (Of course this doesn't work if you're going for a jog and swim afterwards, seriously)

So it passes my test as a good wash (I am still wondering about those charcoal bits) in that it doesn't sting my face and it washes off the oil and I don't get that raw scratchy sensation I used to get with other harsh scrubs.

i first heard of charcoal fashwash from my sister in law and i was utterly astonished on hearing.

due to my sensitive skin, i would not dare to anyhow use any facial product. i tried a little on the sample and it works well for me. it cleans well, washes well, and maintain it well.

despite how much i would say is never enough for you to just grab the samples or one in the watson pharmacy. once u have tried it, u will know how well it works.

personally, im very pleased with this NEW facial wash for me. =)

I feel that it is a bit foamy, I do not like it too foamy. But the color is cool and it is effective. Works well for me.

Not sure how the moisturiser works also, but I guess it should not be too bad, since the cleanser was great.

I stumbled on this site a signed up for it, getting the Mentholatum for Men Charcoal Face Wash sample in the process. Initally, i was afraid to try out this new product as i have sensitive skin. However, after viewing many positive comments about the product, i decided to try it.

The effects after the first wash was amazing. My face did not feel oily and i felt refreshed all day long. My skin seems more smooth and had a glow on it. My pores are also more refined and my complexion seemed to have improved. All this happened in just one wash!

I will definite purchase this product for future use and recommend it to my family and friends. A big thank you to Mentholatum for making such a cool product! Mentholatum Rocks!

I like the cleanser alot because its a very cool color. Its mettalic grey with some in grains. Very very cool and manly color. Suir me alot.

Then the cleasing ability is one of the better ones I have. It cleanses properly and rids the sebum off effectively.

I also like the advertisement. Considering the price of it (pretty affordable), I say its a 5/5. Excellent I say!

Gave this sample to my SO to trial and review.

It lathers easily with a few drops and is fragrance-free. As his face gets oily easily, he is satisfied that it is able to cleanse his face and keeps it oil-free almost thru out the whole day.

This is one of the best facewash I have used. Comparable to Loreal and the rest, better than other charcoal based facewash.

I like the cleansed feeling it has, and the fact that it does not have a strong smell (Almost smell free - not sure if it is) is a plus to me.
I do not like some facewash with a particular smell.

I like the color of the facewash. Very professional feeling.. It feels a bit warm even when I rub it between my palms.

My sebum are washed off better, and surprisingly me sebum production seemed to be under control, almost as if the pores are totally cleansed (yes, i know its not possible to totally cleansed them).
